Our company has been awarded the “Green Factory” certification in Fujian Province, setting a new benchmark for green development

Recently, after undergoing a rigorous evaluation by the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, our company was successfully selected for the 2025 Fujian Provincial Green Factory list and officially recognized in July 2025. This honor marks a significant breakthrough for the company in the fields of green manufacturing and sustainable development, positioning it as one of the leading enterprises in our province’s green manufacturing system.

01 The profound connotation of green factory

Green industry is an industrial system that is based on clean production technology and realizes the ecological production process through efficient use of resources and optimization of energy structure.

A green factory refers to an enterprise that introduces life cycle thinking, gives priority to green processes, technologies and equipment, and meets the requirements for comprehensive evaluation of infrastructure, management systems, energy and resource input, products, environmental emissions, and performance on the premise of ensuring product function, quality, and employee occupational health and safety during the manufacturing process.

According to the definition of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, green factories need to achieve five core goals: intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production and waste recycling, and low-carbon energy.

This concept goes beyond the traditional "end-of-pipe management" environmental protection model and instead implements the concept of environmental protection throughout the entire life cycle from product design, raw material procurement to production processes.

02 Strict standards for authoritative certification

The green factory certification in Fujian Province follows the principle of “selecting the best from the best and preferring shortage to waste”.

According to the "Fujian Province Green Manufacturing Gradient Cultivation Management Implementation Rules (Interim)" issued by the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, green factory cultivation objects must meet a series of strict conditions.

This includes general-purpose equipment that has not been used and has been expressly prohibited from production and use, equipment with high energy consumption and low efficiency, and the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product reaches the advanced value of the relevant national industry energy consumption limit standard or the level 1 energy efficiency level requirement, etc.

The review process is extremely rigorous and has gone through multiple steps including enterprise application, preliminary review by the industry and information technology departments of each district and city, review by the Provincial Energy Conservation Center, and on-site spot inspection and review by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

In the end, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology officially determined the list of provincial green factories in 2025 after soliciting opinions from relevant provincial departments and making them public.

03 The background of green manufacturing

Gradient cultivation of green factories is an important measure to implement the concept of green development.

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the need to “promote the development of high-end, intelligent, and green manufacturing industries.”

In the "Interim Measures for the Gradient Cultivation and Management of Green Factories" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2024, it was proposed to build a new mechanism for cultivating green manufacturing benchmarks with "vertical linkage" at the national, provincial and municipal levels, and "horizontal drive" of green industrial parks and green supply chain management enterprises.

Fujian Province actively responded to the national call, formulated provincial-level green manufacturing gradient cultivation management implementation details, and established a gradient cultivation system from the municipal level, provincial level to the national level.

Through this system, our province is cultivating a large number of green manufacturing benchmark enterprises and leading the green and low-carbon transformation of the province's manufacturing industry.

04 Green commitment for future development

Obtaining "green factory" certification is not the end, but a new starting point for the company's green development.

We will continue to deepen green and low-carbon transformation and actively deploy new green manufacturing models such as “zero-carbon factories” and “zero-carbon industries”.
